Rebuilding![]() Centrisys' knowledge of centrifuges not only enables our team to rebuild our own centrifuges but also rebuild all other brand name centrifuges. Our team is capable of doing turnkey repairs in our workshop facility. The Centrisys team can remove customer's equipment from their site, have it completely rebuilt in our shop, and rapidly returned to the customer's site. During the rebuilding process, our knowledge of centrifuges enables us to improve performance and reduce future rebuilding costs to the centrifuge. Using only superior materials as part of the scope when rebuilding, enhances the centrifuge's performance and resistance to wear. Optimizing ![]() Centrisys' superior centrifuge knowledge allows us to not only rebuild but optimize the centrifuge's performance to suit customers' needs. Some of the specific needs a customer may have altered are: maintenance cost, polymer consumption, cake dryness, power consumption, and recovery. In one major metropolitan city Centrisys improved the performance of the existing centrifuges, which were operating with 19% TS cake solids, to +30%. Retrofitting Centrisys
is retrofitting all brands of centrifuges with the newest technologies.
One of the most numerous retrofits is the installation of the Viscotherm
hydraulic backdrive to the centrifuges which replaces DC, AC, and Eddy Current
backdrives. Viscotherm currently has the highest torque capabilities of
any backdrive. Customizing ![]() Centrisys customizes each brand of centrifuge to the owner's needs. Example: A major city had high vibration with the top mounted drive of the centrifuge. We removed the drive and designed a new drive arrangement next to the centrifuge. The vibration levels were reduced significantly, down to the level of a new centrifuge. Inspection A thorough inspection on the centrifuge and all its components is done before the rebuilding begins. Once all the data is gather from the inspection, the customer is given a complete report of the current condition, recommended modifications (if needed), recommended parts to replace or rebuild, and any future maintenace required. After rebuild is completed, testing and inspection of the unit is done to ensure proper performance. A complete vibration test is done and, if needed, the centrifuge is trim balanced. Trim balancing is performed on the unit's existing bearings. After centrifuge has met all quality control standards for performance, the unit is ready to be shipped back to the site for operation. Centrisys has been employed by several cities' private companies to oversee their centrifuge setup and overall operation. Since the performance of the centrifuge is dependent on the surroundings. skilled engineering team is capable of engineering improved parts from various
materials, and resolve problems of any nature that a customer may have.
All centrifuges are designed by using sophisticated three dimensional solid
modeling software. By using this software, any discrepancies are detected
in the early design stages and corrected easily. The design to realization
of a project is much faster without having to sacrifice quality in the design,
performance, or life expectancy of the equipment. Replacement Parts Centrisys can supply replacement parts for all brands of centrifuges. Our parts are manufactured of the best materials available today to increase life expectancy of the equipment.
