The Centrisys Skidmounted
Centrifuge System
Centrifuge - One high performance dewatering centrisys centrifuge.
Feed Pump - One Positive displacement feed pump complete with a
VFD to adjust the speed of the sludge flow to the centrifuge. Progressive
cavity or lobe design is typical.
Manifold - A manifold is installed so that all liquid to and from
the system is connected at a central point on the skid. Sludge in, centrate
out & freshwater connections are connected at this single point.
Cake Transportation - A screw conveyor or cake pump is used for
transportation of the centrifuge cake from the skid into the desired hopper.
The screw conveyor is typically 16' in length and can discharge on an
angle. The screw conveyor has a drain for water drainage on startups and
shutdowns. Cake pumps can be fitted with a sensing device in the cake
discharge hopper for automatic starting & stopping.
Polymer Makeup System - Emulsion polymer blending unit for mixing
of emulsion polymers when flocculation is required is typically included
in the dewatering system.
Flow Meter - A magnetic flow meter is included for local display
as well as display on the system control interface screen.
Control Panel - Included is a NEMA 4X stainless steel enclosure
for all controls installed on the skid. Installed within the panel are
the necessary VFD's and starters for the operation of the system. All
components are interlocked through a PLC, backdrive microprocessor or
timer relay.
Stand & Hoppers - All equipment is integrated on a common framework
which includes OSHA catwalks and handrails for maintenance and adjustment
of the centrifuge system. Fiberglass non-skid grating is included for
the catwalks.
Drip Pan - Skid mount systems include an integrated drip pan for
containment of process material and pretreatment chemicals. Drip pans
include 4" connections for drainage.
